Custom Lapis Lazuli Ring in Two Shapes
Each stone has unique markings making them one of a kind. The square stone is perfectly wrapped with Plain fine silver wire. However, the round stone is set with a fancy crown wire. On each ring, the stone sits atop a medium-sized Sterling Silver band. The square stone measures less than half an inch in diameter, while the round stone measures almost half an inch. Buyer may choose the stone and ring size from the choices below. Once we receive the order, we will email you a photo showing the stone you picked, with the bezel wire shaped around it to confirm you like it before starting work.
Once the buyer approves in writing, a 50% deposit must be made for work to start. Rings take approximately one week to complete, as long as all materials are in stock. Should your items not be in stock, an extra 1-2 weeks may be needed, and we will let you know via email. You have the option to cancel your order if the extra time is unacceptable. The remaining 50% will be due upon completion. Items over $50 ship for free. Please email me with any questions.
Care of Jewelry
Lapis is sensitive to pressure, heat and (with its calcite content) household cleaners and abrasives. Lapis lazuli should not be placed in direct sunlight for longer periods of time as the sun can cause the color of the stone to fade.
Even though lapis lazuli can go in water, it is not recommended to leave the stone in water for extended periods of time due to its porous nature. Clean undyed lapis with lukewarm soapy water and test dyed materials to see how they react to water before cleaning. Wipe them with a soft cloth and store dry, in a separate bag or box where it can neither scratch nor be scratched by other jewelry. Avoid ultrasound and steam cleaners.
